What is Asthma?
Asthma is a serious condition, and if you have concerns about worsening symptoms, it's crucial to seek an emergency consultation with your doctor or nurse. When calling, please inform the reception staff that you have asthma.
Our practice nurses possess specialized qualifications in asthma care. They conduct clinics to assess asthma, provide advice, answer questions, and ensure appropriate treatment is administered.
It is recommended that patients taking asthma medication attend the asthma clinic at least annually for a review with the nurse.
Your attendance at appointments is greatly valued, even if your asthma is currently well-managed, as it contributes to your ongoing health.
Patient UK offers a selection of factsheets that provide information and guidance on various asthma-related subjects.
